The Series 9500 enclosed type pinch valve is a simple on/off valve that is ideal for use in process applications. The simple structure of this valve consists of two metal casings, an elastomer sleeve and casing gaskets. The valve is closed by directly injecting air or fluid into the body (casing). Approximately 20 PSI differential pressure above line pressure is required to close the valve. The elastomeric sleeve features a flange which requires no gasketing. Some elastomers may result in a nonbubble tight closed position.
