The Series 2200 is a completely enclosed, manually operated pinch valve for controlled service. The face-to-face dimensions for this series conforms to Instrumentation Society of America (ISA) Standards for Control Valves. The durable Flex-Valve rubber sleeve is the only part of the valve exposed to the line process. For flow control or shut-off, the rubber sleeve is pinched by the clamping effect of the mechanism at the center of the sleeve. When the valve is in the open position, the smooth, unbroken contour assures unobstructed flow without dead spots or cavities. This adds to the durability and maintenance-free operation of all Flex-Valves.
The Series 2200 was designed for those applications requiring a full round, enclosed valve with pinching from both top and bottom to the center, combined with cost effectiveness and flow control accuracy.
